I think this type of stone is also called coffee bean jasper . The colors in this bead are wonderful . The background is grey and the design is deep red , pink , golden yellow and black with little dendrites . There is a line across the bead that seems etched in - it goes all the way through but doesn't seem to be compromising the strength of the bead . It is drilled through the bead and measures 35mm and is 7mm thick .
